  4. The tracks listed here for the album are not from the original Vivid album release, but a release in with bonus tracks. The original Vivid release only had eleven tracks.

In , few heavy metal bands were comprised of all black members, and fewer had the talent or know-how to inject different musical forms into their hard rock sound (funk, punk, alternative, jazz, soul, rap) -- but N.Y.C.'s Living Colour proved to be an exception. Unlike nearly all of the era's metal bands, the group's music has held up over time, thanks to its originality and execution.
  6. “Memories Can’t Wait” is a cover of a Talking Heads song. I just heard the original version for the first time yesterday, and have to say they did a fine job of it. It’s faithful to the original, yet still takes on the Living Colour sound. Even though it’s not technically their song, it still is among the strongest songs on the album.
  7. The remaining tacks (including a live 'Memories Can't Wait') will be familiar to those who know the band's catalog, but the sequencing of this set is also one of its pleasures. As originally stated, this is a very generous set, way better than the subsequent 'Super Hits' (cheesy!), and as put together by the band, nicely covers the - 95 /5(28).
